Brice Stormer, RHIA, CHDA, is an experienced EHR analyst and informaticist who is passionate about the intersection of people and technology. He has found his calling in bridging the divide between operations and IT in the healthcare space by developing collaborative and sustainable solutions to complex challenges.

Brice has had his hands on a keyboard ever since he can remember. One of his earliest memories was sitting on his grandfather's lap, 'helping' type commands in MS-DOS. From working his way through "Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing" at eight, or learning how to navigate a Macintosh during middle-school, Brice has always loved the learning process and understanding how technology works and how it can help people.

Healthcare was a very natural fit for Brice as a career as a young adult. It wasn't until an opportunity arose in 2011 to lead an EHR implementation that his love for technology and career field collided. He knew he had found his calling – and subsequently completed a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree to further increase his knowledge of the healthcare and technology space.

Brice currently works in a lead EHR analyst role with the largest privately funded EHR in the world (Kaiser Permanente’s HealthConnect). He is also expanding his skill set with a post-bacc Computer Science degree from Oregon State University. He lives with his partner Susan and their retired racing greyhound, Vincent. When not on the computer, he enjoys being in nature, cycling, cooking, and reading non-fiction.
